Look what the lovely Lisa at Yummy Mummy Cupcakes sent over to celebrate the launch of the Wedding Girl’s SOS!!

What a wonderful surprise I got when these tasty treats turned up at my door! Not only do they look gorgeous (my little digital camera has not done them justice), adorned with glitter and hearts these beautiful cupcakes almost looked to pretty to eat….I said almost! Of course I couldn’t resist, they were absolutely to die for! Unlike many cupcakes these had a scrumptious dense sponge that wouldn’t crumble all over your dress, the delicious buttery icing melted in my mouth and I couldn’t help but try each different combination one after the other. The moist vanilla sponge with pink creamy icing was delightful but being a chocolholic the chocolate on chocolate was the winner for me.

Yummy Mummy Cupcakes was set up by Lisa when she started baking for the school fete using her lovely AGA and everyone was raving about her deleicous cakes, the rest as they say is history! Lisa loves working to themes and she is really original and very creative, so perfect for anyone who has a themed wedding.

The bespoke range starts from £2.50 per muffin-sized cupcake. (she also does bite-sized ones, normal price £0.75 and £1.75 for the bigger ones). For anyone who can’t resist her cupcakes but also wants a larger wedding cake for the ‘cutting of the cake’ Lisa has also made giant cupcakes which look fanstastic, especially if you surrounded ut with mini ones for guests to help themselves to througout the evening.
