Located in the western Andaman sea, between the main coastline of Thailand and the island of Phuket lie the small but perfectly formed Phi Phi Islands. Widely hailed for their beauty, the islands found fame as the idyllic setting of the film ‘The Beach’ and travellers flock from all over the world to gaze upon their sheer cliff faces that descend into lush jungles that give way to white sandy beaches and azure seas. Of the two main islands, Ko Phi Phi Don and Koh Phi Phi Ley, only Koh Phi Phi Don is inhabited but despite this there are still no roads on the islands, which makes for a wonderfully rustic experience.
Due to the popularity of the islands, the main settlement on Koh Phi Phi Don can get fairly busy at peak times but fortunately we have the answer if you want to enjoy the beauty of the islands in more private surroundings. Just a short boat ride up to the top of the island (the only real way to get there from the main town), lies the luxury villa resort of Zeavola.
Zeavola is the only luxury villa resort on Koh Phi Phi and from its prime position nestled at the top of the islands you can gaze out on the blue waters of the Andaman sea untroubled by the hustle and bustle of the main town.

I want to get married in 2012 in Italy but a friend of mine recently told me that it is not possible to get married on the beach in Italy, is this true?
Carolina – Essex
Carolina, it is possible to have a beach wedding in Italy however there are a range of issues you need to be aware of. A beach wedding in Italy can be sandy or rocky and during the summer or on a hot day you will find that the beaches are filled with people; holiday makers and sunbathers. You also need to consider that for you to have a beach wedding, it is essential that the beach is private. It is not possible to get married on a public beach.
Most of the private beaches are owned either by a hotel or a restaurant or the owner of a villa, so if you want to take advantage of a beach wedding, you may need to stay at the venue or have your reception here and the other thing to bear in mind is that you may also need to consider getting married in the evening when all the bathers and sun worshippers have gone home for the evening as you do not want your wedding ceremony to be spoiled by tanned bodies in bikinis and swimming trunks! You would therefore need to consider an early evening wedding which could take place at 1800 hours or slightly later.

Wedding girl, I am looking for bridesmaid dresses for 3 of my bridesmaids. I want something beautiful for my friends not your usual frumpy dresses and not something from the high street that everyone has seen all Summer long, but I don’t have a huge budget. Can you recommend anywhere that might offer what i’m looking for
Kelly – Surrey
Hi Kelly well I am really excited to tell you that frumpy bridesmaids are set to become a thing of the past with the launch of The Dress Consultants; they are a new bridesmaid retailer offering a fresh and unique collection of contemporary dresses from a range of much-coveted brands, previously unavailable in the UK, so you will definitely find something that will set your girls apart from other bridesmaids.
