This season sees the accessory world obsessed with statement pieces: the big, the bold and the beautiful. Tiara trends have naturally followed suit. For the modern, fashion-conscious bride-to-be who desires only the most stylish headpiece for her big day, Tiararama introduces ‘Tiararama Editions’. Designer, Suzanne has embraced this season’s style in her own signature way, creating six exclusive pieces which will change seasonally.
Known for their intricate designs and exquisite detail, Tiararama preserves their high level of craftsmanship as they take on this season’s trends. Each piece is strikingly contemporary in both design and in thinking, yet the tiaras subtly hint at a period of 1940s and 1950s Parisian glamour. With a high society feel these pieces feature the most luxurious materials, such as freshwater pearls, Swarovski crystals and opaque glass beads.
The six tiaras making up the ‘Tiararama Editions’ collection truly capture the current trends in tiaras. For the bride-to-be who desires a modern twist on a traditional veil, Valeria is the perfect piece, incorporating layers of tulle, beautifully finished with a seed bead and diamante detailing.
Liliana also provides a charming alternative to a veil, featuring ruched tulle surrounding a floral motif made entirely of seed beads. Tie the Knot is ideal for those who want something classic and simple, whilst Winter Rose offers a similarly delicate design in dazzlingly crystal. For others who want something truly statement, Hydrangea Bouquet is stunning and will definitely draw attention for all the right reasons.

Kate Fearnley is delighted to launch her first ever fascinator collection, to complement her Spring/Summer 2013 Riviera Cocktail collection, bound to wow wedding guests as we head into the summer season.
Inspired by retro vacations, and focussing heavily on the styles and shapes of the Hollywood icons of the 1950s, the Riviera Cocktail collection brings into mind the post-war French Riviera – sun, drinks parties at the yacht club, promenading on the Mediterranean sea fronts, and is proving highly popular with wedding guests of all ages.
Fearnley’s Fascinators are designed to match key pieces in the collection, which features Kate’s trademark bold use of colour and flattering shapes. Shades of red, aqua, strawberry, pink and purple are interspersed with black and white and vibrant splashes of yellow. The collection also includes cherry printed stretch cottons, florals, spots and paintsplash prints.
“I am constantly being asked by wedding goers for recommendations of headwear to complement my collections, so the fascinators are a long time coming” says Kate, 36. “I’ve been blown away by the response from my customers so far, and am looking forward to seeing these grace weddings and racecourses throughout the summer months.”

For most women, it’s that moment when they put on their tiara they truly feel like a bride. Unlike the royals for whom a crown or tiara is customary, for the rest of us it is our wedding day that is the only opportunity we really get to feel like a princess.
With this in mind and the excitement around the upcoming wedding of Kate Middleton to Prince William, Olivier Laudus have selected a range of elegant designs with a contemporary feel to add to their tiara collection. With silver or gold plating and boasting sparkling Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearl detailing, these gorgeous new tiara designs will make brides look and feel as special as the princess-in-waiting.
Tiaras arrive packaged in a complimentary luxury Olivier Laudus white presentation box packed with tissue paper.
The full collection of tiaras can be seen at www.olivierlaudus.com.

Award-winning bridal jewellery designers Yarwood-White are pleased to announce the launch of their new collection for 2011 ‘New Rose’.
The New Vintage - This collection differs from much of the vintage-style wedding jewellery available because it features soft colour: ballet-slipper pink gemstones combined with platinum pearls and antiqued silver roses give the designs a fresh, feminine feel.
“Vintage is still a huge trend in wedding jewellery, but this year it softens, with rose, oyster and peach colour palettes taking over from diamante.” Says Clare Yarwood-White.
“2011 Brides will be taking their inspiration for dresses, hair and accessories from the fresh-faced, perfectly groomed ballerina.”
The collection includes charm bracelets, cuffs, rope necklaces and pendants, delicate earrings, and chandeliers. There is a wide choice of hair jewellery from decorative pins and side tiaras to more bohemian hairbands and forehead chains, all very on trend for this season’s bride.
The New Rose Collection launched at the Designer Wedding Show this week.
The collection is available online at www.yarwood-white.com

One of my favourite wedding accessory companies Olivier Laudus are completely in love with the vintage bridal trend and offer a fabulous collection of accessories for brides.
Elegant and romantic, vintage-inspired hair accessories provide the perfect stylish alternative to a classic tiara and, luckily for brides-to-be, at Olivier Laudus they have just added some gorgeous new pieces to their ready-to-wear Boutique Collection. From statement side-headbands featuring bold crystals and diamantes, to intricately detailed mini hair combs made from antique silver and freshwater pearls and lovely floral-inspired hair combs perfect for that chic up do, it has been a pleasure to choose these lovely hair accessories to add to the collection. While the pieces are reminiscent of a romantic bygone era, they’re simply perfect for the modern bride wanting to incorporate a vintage theme into her wedding day. All hair accessories arrive packaged in a complimentary luxury Olivier Laudus presentation box.

The world’s finest simulated diamond jewellery, Tru-Diamonds has launched the Royal Engagement Ring (T2973GC and T2974PC) as a tribute to the engagement of Prince William and Kate Middleton, giving the UK’s ladies the chance to get the multi-million dollar look for less.
Originally the engagement ring Prince Charles gave to Lady Diana Spencer on their engagement in 1981, it is estimated to be worth in the region of £85,000*, but Tru-Diamonds™ is offering the royal replica at just £69.

I am getting married in August and my wedding has a vintage theme. I am looking for a cute fascinator or hair comb to complete my look. Can you recommend anywhere for me to look?
Stacey – Soutfields
Hi Stacey, I actually have the perfect place in mind www.oliviaroat.com. I only came across this designer recently but her pieces are simply gorgeous and will really add a bit of vintage glamour to your look. The designer is Olivia Roat, she is a very talented miliner who trained with Philip Treacy and hand makes all her pieces from her Chelsea studio. She works with each client to design something usinque and special just for them. I simply adore this Flower Comb and this 1920′s Pearl fascinator. Her prices start from £120.

Returning to the roots of the business, Olivier Laudus has added thirteen new designs to his wedding ring cushion collection. The idea of creating a range of luxury wedding ring cushions first came to Olivier Laudus in 2004 after he tried unsuccessfully to find one for his own wedding. It was then he decided to commission his own. The reaction, Olivier and his wife received from all who saw their ring cushion, convinced them to share this with others.
Six years on, his online bridal boutique offers a wide selection of beautiful bridal accessories; however it would be fair to say that Olivier is still the leading designer of wedding ring cushions and the exclusive collection features stylish unique designs which complement most styles of weddings.

Inspired by the romance of bygone days and the well known bridal saying “something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue”, the Chez Bec SS10 Collection is bursting to the brim with romantic, vintage-style pieces to fall in love with. From stunning freshwater pearl and rock crystal tiaras to wonderfully delicate brooches and corsage-style bracelets, the Chez Bec SS10 Collection will not disappoint those brides searching for something special to wear on their Wedding day.
New to the Chez Bec SS10 Collection is a collection of divine, vintage-inspired brooches featuring an abundance of freshwater pearls, rock crystals and rhinestones. This is in response to a growing demand from brides looking to inject a little vintage glamour in to their dresses with something which can be worn time and time again after the Wedding instead of being packed away with the dress. Also new to the Chez Bec SS10 Collection is a small collection of freshwater pearl cufflinks and cravat pins which make the most perfect gifts for the boys in the wedding party.
Each and every piece within the Chez Bec SS10 Collection is beautifully designed and handmade by Chez Bec in the UK. With one of the largest collections of bridal jewellery available online, Chez Bec offers an exquisite, yet affordable, array of wedding jewellery, tiaras and hair accessories.

Dear Wedding Girl.
I love your website and have found it a useful tool in planning my wedding. I was just wondering is it ok to give my bridesmaids pearl jewellery as gifts? I’m wearing a pearl necklace with a simple dress and my Mum and h2b’s Mum will wear simple fresh water pearl necklaces. My bridesmaids will be wearing deep purple dresses from coast.
Can you recommend any jewellery to compliment their dress?
Janatu – Shropshire

Hi Jantu
I am such a big fan of pearls, they are so elegant and classy and they pretty much go with anything. I think as the dresses are a deep purple that Tahitian pearls or pink pearls would look just stunning. I would probably go for some simple drop pearl earrings or a single pearl pendant that each bridesmaid could wear. I know that Aye Do have a great selection of pearl jewellery at affordable prices.
Have a look at their website www.ayedo.co.uk, i’m sure you will find something perfect from their vast collection.

I am loving the new accessories from Olivier Laudus!! He has come a long way from his original business of designing and making luxury wedding ring cushions. His online bridal boutique is now a firm favourite with brides looking for that perfect wedding accessory and he prides himself on offering, in addition to his Signature Collection of products, a selection of other unique accessories.
Just launched this week are an exciting and contemporary range of tiaras, headbands, hair combs, brooches and cuff bracelets featuring on-trend over-sized diamante, crystals and pearls. All the pieces have been handpicked by him and are both affordable yet stunning in detail, design and quality.
I absolutely adore the Baccara wedding tiara and matching hair comb. The tiara is from the vintage collection and is set on a gold frame, it features a combination of porcelain roses, Swarovski crystals and freshwater pearls. It is also available in silver with ivory rose buds.
The whole accessories collection can be seen at www.olivierlaudus.co.uk and all hair accessories and jewellery come packaged in a free luxury presentation box.

Hello, I am hoping you could help me, I am looking for something beautiful to wear in my hair for my wedding day. I have looked at various jewellery and accessory shops but not found anything that stands out. Do you have any suggestions for me.
Lou – Colliers Wood
Hi Lou, There is definitely a lot of choice out there when it comes to headwear and accessoires but it can be quite hard to find something really special when you have too much choice. One company I particularly like is Flo and Percy who specialise in tiaras and hair accessories created and inspired from vintage jewellery and components. They have just recently launched their Gatsby collection which is inspired by 1920s tea parties and the current trend for sequin and beaded fashion. They have designed hairpieces and jewellery including cuffs and earrings which are just stunning. I particularly love this Clarice headband.
